Winter's chill gives way to Spring's dramatic display of wildflowers
and blossoming dogwood trees. The annual Blossomtime
Festival celebrates orchards in bloom, and the Dogwood
Fine Arts Festival attracts world-class talents showcasing
area artists and the promise and energy of our youth.
Summer in Dowagiac offers water sports with the
many inland lakes surrounding the City and Lake Michigan's sandy
beaches a short drive away. Downtown Dowagiac comes alive with the
annual Fun-Fest and Rod and Roll Classic Auto Show.
Fall brings the arts back to Dowagiac. Fresh produce
abounds in farm markets and roadside stands. Apple
and Cider
festivals beckon us to the outdoors as Southwest Michigan dazzles
the eye with a beautiful autumn display of color only Mother Nature
could paint.
